NEPSE declines by single digit, shares of 141 companies drop on Monday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a slight decline, dropping by 4.62 points on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

This follows a 21.27-point increase on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

In Monday’s trading, investors in 95 companies made profits, while those in 141 companies experienced losses.

The share prices of 10 companies remained unchanged.

A total of 10,475,181 shares were traded, amounting to Rs 4.57 billion.

Investors in Samaj Microfinance earned the highest profits, while investors in Mailung Khola Hydropower incurred the most significant losses.
