KANCHANPUR: A culvert along the East-West Highway collapsed in Bedkot Municipality-7 of Kanchanpur due to incessant rain.

The collapse has completely blocked vehicle movement on the highway.

The incident occurred near Sudachowk, where flooding in the river led to the culvert’s collapse on Sunday night.

With no access on the highway, passengers are compelled to seek alternative routes.

The heavy rain has also inundated most settlements in Kanchanpur and Kailali.
