KATHMANDU: Chairman of Unified Socialist Party, Madhav Kumar Nepal, has emphasized the necessity for the current government led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda to confront Parliament boldly.

Speaking to media in Kathmandu on Friday, he reaffirmed his commitment to the current government and stressed the importance of its willingness to engage with Parliament.

He also underscored the importance of maintaining inter-party relations, urging all political entities to collaborate in fortifying Parliament and safeguarding the existing political framework.

“We must maintain strong relations between our parties. All political factions should unite to strengthen Parliament and uphold our current system. We will actively protect democracy, the republic, the constitution, and accelerate the pace of progress,” he added.
