PM Dahal summons Maoist Center office bearers meeting

KATHMANDU: Following the agreement between the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML to form a new government, Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has called for a meeting of his party’s office bearers.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Prime Minister’s Office Residence in Baluwatar at 9 AM today.

According to a party leader, PM Dahal is expected to discuss the situation and may resign from his post during the meeting.

The current government, led by PM Dahal, is on the brink of collapse as the two largest parties in parliament, Nepali Congress and UML, have decided to join forces to establish a new government.
