Two killed, six injured by lightning strike in Kailali



KATHMANDU: A lightning strike in Kailali district has claimed the lives of two individuals and left six others severely injured.

The deceased have been identified as Jay Ram Dagaura, 31, of Joshipur-3, and Shalim Chaudhary, 27, of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-18.

According to Kabindra Singh Bohora, spokesperson for the District Police Office in Kailali, the victims were working in fields when the lightning struck on Wednesday morning.
