CIAA files corruption case against Chief Secretary Aryal

KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed corruption case against Chief Secretary Baikuntha Aryal, alleging irregularities in the printing of excise duty stickers.

CIAA filed the case today at the Special Court, accusing Chief Secretary Aryal of mismanagement during his tenure as Secretary of the Ministry of Communication.

The case also includes charges against Joint Secretaries Ritesh Shakya and Tanka Paudel.

Additionally, the CIAA has named Undersecretary Ganesh Bikram Shah and Section Officer Rabindra Paudel as defendants in the case.

The corruption charges also extend to Bikal Paudel, who was dismissed from the Security Printing Center, alongside Chief Secretary Aryal.
