NEPSE witnesses a single-digit decline, trading volume at Rs 4.37 billion



KATHMANDU: On the first trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a minor decline.

The NEPSE index decreased by 5.37 points, reaching 2062.94.

On Sunday, 95.61 million shares were traded 61,513 times across 317 companies, amounting to a total trading value of Rs 4.37 billion (4,374,597,458).

Similarly, the Sensitive Index decreased by 0.63 points, the Float Index by 0.36 points, and the Sensitive Float Index by 0.15 points.

Out of the 13 subgroups, finance, others, and trading companies saw an increase, while the remaining 10 declined.

The finance sector saw the highest increase, whereas the hotel and tourism sectors experienced the largest drop.

Pokhara Finance Company Limited recorded the highest trading volume on Sunday.
