Traffic resumes on Prithvi Highway



CHITWAN: The Prithvi Highway, which was obstructed due to a landslide, has been reopened.

Vehicular movement on the highway was blocked after a landslide occurred at the Muglin-Malekhu section between Phisling and Mauwakhola in Ichhakamana Rural Municipality-3 this morning.

Chief of the Area Police Office in Muglin, Police Inspector Nirala Bhandari, reported that two-way traffic has now resumed after removing the landslide debris that had accumulated and blocked the highway.

Vehicles that were stranded have resumed their journeys to their respective destinations with the reopening of the highway.
