Four members of same family killed in Taplejung landslide



TAPLEJUNG: Four members of the same family died due to a landslide in Phattanglung Rural Municipality-2, Tingdu of Taplejung last night.

Seventy-year-old Ram Bahadur Limbu, his 50-year-old wife Jammaya, and their 12-year-old twin daughters Ganga and Jamuna were swept away when their house was destroyed by the landslide.

According to Vice-Chairman of the municipality, Rabin Samra Limbu, he lost his family in the disaster, and two or three other families were also affected.
