Cabinet expansion in Madhes: Two Janamat Party lawmakers appointed as ministers



KATHMANDU: Madhes Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has expanded the provincial cabinet, appointing two ministers from the Janamat Party.

Tribhuwan Sah, elected from Siraha-4 (1), and Sakil Miya, elected from Saptari-1 (1), have been appointed as ministers.

Sah has been assigned the Ministry of Forest and Environment.

Additionally, Ranju Mandal Khanga, who was previously a minister without portfolio, has been designated as the State Minister for the same ministry.

Miya has not yet been assigned a specific portfolio.

He will be given responsibility for another ministry allocated to the Janamat Party.

Preparations are underway for the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed ministers.
