Four Chinese nationals arrested with undisclosed source 6.9 million rupees



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested four Chinese nationals in possession of Rs 6.9 million, the source of which has not been disclosed.

The individuals arrested are Zhang Yuan, 32, Ning Haoran, 50, Quo Haoran, 24, and Dinu Liu, 36, all residing in Kathmandu.

The arrest occurred on Wednesday evening when police conducted a search of a taxi (Ba 70 Pa 2872) near the Maheshwari petrol pump in Bhaktapur’s Suryabinayak Municipality.

The taxi, traveling from Sanga towards Jagati at around 7:00 p.m., was found carrying the cash.

The police have handed over the four Chinese nationals to the Internal Revenue Office Bhaktapur for further action.
