Gold traders protest against government tax hike (Photos)



KATHMANDU: Gold traders staged a demonstration at Maitighar in Kathmandu on Sunday, protesting against the recent increase in customs duty imposed by the government and the syndicate that has been in place for the last 14 years.

During the protest in the capital, the agitated dealers called for the lifting of the recently imposed tax hike and the longstanding syndicate system.
