Dhanusha District Court extends Kailash Sirohiya’s detention by three more days



KATHMANDU: The District Court of Dhanusha has granted an additional three days of custody for Kailash Sirohiya, Chairman of Kantipur Media Group, to facilitate further investigation.

On Monday, the court authorized the police to keep Sirohiya in custody for an additional three days.

Judge Yaduraj Sharma’s bench allowed three more days for investigation into the charges against Sirohiya.

Previously, benches led by Judge Romakant Gyawali and Judge Churaman Khadka had each granted three-day custody periods for the investigation.

Earlier, Sirohiya had reached District Court in Kavya Hospital’s ambulance.
