HoR meeting begins amid opposition’s obstruction



KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting began amid obstructions from opposition parties.

Lawmakers of the main opposition party, Nepali Congress, disrupted the meeting, chanting slogans demanding the formation of a parliamentary probe committee to investigate Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane’s involvement in a cooperative fraud case.

The government is scheduled to pass its policies and programs in Sunday’s parliament meeting.
