Motorcycle-hit claims pedestrian

CHITWAN: A pedestrian has died after being hit by a motorcycle in front of Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-10.  The deceased has been identified as Pradip Sunar, 19, of Kalika Municipality-9.

According to District Police Office, Chitwan, a motorcycle, Na 48 Pa 7064, rammed Sunar at 11 pm on Thursday.

Critically injured Sunar died in course of treatment at Chitwan Medical College.

The motorcyclist also sustained injuries. Injured Abhishek Sharma, 22, of Gulariya Municipality-8, of Bardiya is undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College, said police.
