Newly appointed Ministers of Koshi sworn in

BIRATNAGAR: The newly appointed ministers of Koshi were sworn into office on Friday.

Earlier, Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki expanded the Koshi province cabinet to 10 members.

The cabinet consists of six members from the CPN-UML, including the Chief Minister, and four from the CPN-Maoist Center.

The CPN-UML members in the provincial cabinet, including Chief Minister Karki, Ram Bahadur Magar (Ilam), Ekraj Karki (Jhapa), Panchakarna Rai (Khotang), and Lilaballav Adhikari (Morang), have been appointed as ministers.

Similarly, Sirjana Rai (Bhojpur) has been appointed as a state minister.

The members from the Maoist Center in Karki’s cabinet include Ganesh Prasad Upreti (Morang), Rajendra Kumar Karki (Sankhuwasabha), Narayan Bahadur Burja (Udaypur), and Bandana Jhangad (Jhapa).
