Koshi Cabinet Expansion: Number of Ministers in Koshi reaches 10

BIRATNAGAR: Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki has expanded the Koshi province cabinet on Friday.

Now, the Koshi government has 10 members.

The cabinet has 6 members, including the Chief Minister, from the CPN-UML, and 4 from the CPN-Maoist Center.

UML crew in the province cabinet comprise Chief Minister Karki, Ram Bahadur Magar (Ilam), Ekraj Karki (Jhapa), Panchakarna Rai (Khotang), and Lilaballav Adhikari (Morang) have been appointed as ministers.

Similarly, Sirjana Rai (Bhojpur) has been appointed as the state minister.

The Maoist Center members in Karki cabinet include Ganesh Prasad Upreti(Morang), Rajendra Kumar Karki (Sankhuwasabha), Narayan Bahadur Burja (Udaypur) and Bandana Jhangad (Jhapa).

Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning: Ram Bahadur Magar

Ministry of Energy, Irrigation, and Water Supply: Ekraj Karki

Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development: Ganesh Prasad Upreti

Ministry of Tourism, Forest, and Environment: Narayan Bahadur Burja

Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law: Lilaballav Adhikari

Sirjana Rai: State Minister
