Dr. Govinda KC admitted to hospital after health deteriorates



KATHMANDU: Dr. Govinda KC, who has been on a hunger strike since May 11, was admitted to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital at Maharajgunj on Wednesday evening due to a deterioration in his health.

According to Dr. Dinesh Kafle, Dr. KC’s glucose levels have decreased, his heart rate is unstable, and he is experiencing urinary retention.

Despite his hospitalization, Dr. KC has continued his hunger strike.

Dr. KC has been on hunger strike for 22nd time, this time demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister.
