Maoist Spokesperson Sapkota urges national consensus to protect country’s existence



KATHMANDU: Spokesperson of the ruling Maoist Center, Agni Sapkota, has sounded a dire warning, stating that the very existence of the nation is under threat.

Urging swift action, he emphasized the imperative for a national consensus to address the pressing issues facing the country.

Speaking at a press meet organized by Press Center Nepal Dhading, Sapkota underscored the necessity of revitalizing the Parliament to restore public confidence and tackle the prevailing chaos.

He stressed the importance of a unified national vision to guide the way forward.

Sapkota urged for proactive measures, stating, “The longer we delay the national consensus, the greater the jeopardy to our nation’s survival. We must prioritize consensus, cooperation, and coordination.”

Furthermore, he advocated for a budget that prioritizes the agricultural sector and fosters innovation, emphasizing the need for policies that drive inclusive prosperity and development across the nation.
