Three Biplav cadres held with weapons

CHANDRANIGAHAPUR: Rautahat Police has arrested three cadres of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’, with weapons and logistics.

The arrested are Ram Bahadur Ghising alias Rehan Tamang, 30, Man Bahadur Waiba and Reb Prasad Mainali, 55 of Chndrapur Municipality-4, Rautahat. They were arrested for their alleged involvement in the arson attack on ward office of Chandrapur Municipality-3, during bandh called by Netra Bikram Chand on Wednesday.

Police have seized a semi-automatic Chinese pistol, four rounds of bullets and a homemade pistol along with its three rounds of bullets from them, said Area Police Office, Chandranigahapur.

According to police, they set a fire to Ncell tower in Gaindatar in Chandrapur Municipality-3 on April 18 and set five vehicles ablaze in the jungle along the East-west Highway.
