Newly-elected lawmaker Suhang Nembang pledges to uphold father’s legacy and serve Ilam

KATHMANDU: Following his oath-taking ceremony before Speaker Devraj Ghimire at Singha Durbar, newly-elected lawmaker Suhang Nembang conveyed his heartfelt commitment to prioritize the resolution of issues confronting the people of Ilam, driven by their unwavering love, trust, and support.

In a dialogue with media representatives, Nembang articulated his dedication to advancing policy measures aimed at bolstering agriculture, education, healthcare, and tourism, which serve as foundational pillars for regional development.

He also underscored the imperative for policy reforms to align with contemporary needs.

Drawing inspiration from his late father, Subas Chandra Nembang, Nembang affirmed his intent to navigate his parliamentary duties guided by the principles instilled by his revered patriarch.

He vowed to advocate for the welfare of Ilam’s populace and champion their concerns with unwavering determination.

Furthermore, Nembang assured a comprehensive approach towards addressing the district’s multifaceted challenges and advocated for robust initiatives to foster Ilam’s development.

“In Nepal, significant strides have been made in developmental endeavors, and numerous policy frameworks have been established. However, the efficacy of these efforts has been hindered by governance shortcomings.

It is imperative that we unite in our commitment to implement constitutional mandates, fostering cooperation and coordination among stakeholders,” Nembang emphasized.

During the event, MP Nembang reiterated his resolve to fulfill the unfulfilled responsibilities of his late father, Subas Nembang, in accordance with his revered guidance.

The resolute stance of MP Suhang Nembang reflects a dedication to carry forward the legacy of his father while diligently serving the constituents of Ilam.
