Kathmandu adorned with Jacaranda blossoms

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu’s main thoroughfares have been transformed into captivating vistas with the vibrant blooms of Jacaranda trees.

The arrival of these blossoms in the month of mid-April and May has added a new dimension to the capital’s aesthetic allure.

Along the roads encircling Kamal Pokhari, Darbarmarga, Sundhara, and Ratnapark, the Jacaranda’s delicate purple blooms have bestowed an ethereal charm upon the cityscape.

Known colloquially as the “Bhangeri flower,” its presence has become a delightful adornment throughout the capital’s streets.
