KATHMANDU: In the ongoing T20 series, West Indies ‘A’ elected to bat first after winning the toss, setting a target of 210 runs for Nepal to equalize the series.

At the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, the visiting team posted a total of 209 runs for the loss of three wickets.

Johnson Charles led the charge with 58 runs, supported by Andre David Stephon Fletcher and Fabian Anthony Allen, who contributed 84 and 33 runs, respectively, for West Indies ‘A’.

Nepal’s bowlers put up a fight, with Kushal Bhurtel claiming two wickets and Pratish GC taking one.

With the series currently favoring West Indies at 2-1 after three intense battles, Nepal carries the weight of expectation to emerge victorious in today’s crucial encounter.

While Nepal began the series with a thrilling victory by chasing down a challenging target of 205 runs set by West Indies in the series opener, subsequent matches saw setbacks for the home team.
