NEPSE witnesses nominal rise, two companies increase by 10 percent

KATHMANDU: There hasn’t been any significant fluctuation in the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) today, as the stock market grew by 0.7 percent today.

NEPSE, which had risen by double digits yesterday, increased by 0.07 percent today, reaching 1,980.34 points.

Today, shares of finance and development bank groups saw a high increase, while shares of hotel, hydropower, investment, insurance, production, other, and trading groups saw a decrease.

Today, shares of Pokhara Finance and Janaki Finance companies increased by 10 percent.

On a day when the market hasn’t seen much fluctuation, shares of Peoples Power Company have decreased by six percent.

Today, 7,341,000 shares of 317 companies were traded, worth Rs. 2.95 billion.
