Ilam votes: UML garners 11,009 votes followed by NC with 7,275



ILAM: The vote counting for the by-election in Ilam-2 is underway with CPN-UML candidate Suhang Nemwang steadily widening his lead.

As per the latest updates, Nemwang has garnered 11,009 votes, solidifying his position at the forefront.

Following closely behind is Nepali Congress contender Dambar Khadka, who has secured 7,275 votes, marking a difference of 3,734 between the two.

Meanwhile, Dakendra Thegim, an independent candidate advocating for identity-based issues, holds the third position with 5,866 votes.

Rastriya Swatantra Party’s Milan Limbu has garnered 1,509 votes so far.

As the by-election progresses, all eyes remain fixed on the evolving political dynamics in Ilam-2, where each vote holds significant weight in determining the final outcome.
