Ilam-2 by-election update: UML’s Suhang takes lead in Ilam



ILAM: In the vote count of Wards 1, 2, 3, and 4 of Phakphokthum Rural Municipality under Ilam Constituency No. 2, CPN-UML candidate Suhang Nembang has taken the lead.

Nepali Congress candidate Damber Khadka was leading until Sunday afternoon.
However, after the counting of Ward No. 4 votes, UML candidate Suhang has surged ahead.

With the recent results, Suhang has garnered 2,542 votes, surpassing Damber’s 2,197 votes. Thus, Suhang now leads by 345 votes.
