Nepal struggles in powerplay, loses four wickets for 28 runs against West Indies ‘A’



KATHMANDU: Nepal faced a setback, losing four wickets for just 28 runs in the first six overs against West Indies ‘A’ in the second T20 match.

Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, the visiting team set a target of 161 runs for Nepal to chase for a victory in the series.

In the challenging powerplay phase, Lokesh Bam contributed 17 runs, while Kushal Bhurtel managed two, and Anil Sah added one run before losing their wickets.

Additionally, Kushal Malla was run out without scoring.

As Nepal aims to recover from the early blows, the pressure mounts to achieve the target and secure a consecutive victory in the series.
