Dipesh Pun released after bail payment in cooperative fraud case



KATHMANDU: Dipesh Pun, the son of former Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, has been released after posting a bail of Rs. 400,000 on Friday in Kathmandu.

Pun was initially detained in relation to the Supreme Cooperative Fraud case in Butwal and had been held since March 15.

The Rupandehi District Court had granted his release on bail of Rs. 400,000 last week; however, he was able to secure his release today after fulfilling the bail requirements.
