PHC gives unanimous approval to proposed Auditor General Raya



KATHMANDU: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has given unanimous approval to the proposed appointment of Toya Raya as the Auditor General.

Committee Chairperson Pashupati Shumsher Rana informed that Raya’s name has been unanimously endorsed for the post of Auditor General.

Raya, in his proposed 15-page long action plan, expressed his commitment to working diligently to minimize irregularities.

The decision to recommend Raya for the position of Auditor General was made during a meeting of the Constitutional Council held on March 31.
