KATHMANDU: Gold prices have soared to unprecedented levels yet again, with fine gold reaching a new record high of Rs 139,000 per tola on Friday.

This surge of Rs 2,400 per tola further adds to the remarkable spike witnessed in recent weeks, reflecting the ongoing volatility in the precious metals market.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained relatively stable, holding steady at Rs 1,750 per tola.
