NEPSE soars up by double-digit on Sunday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a double-digit rise on Sunday, the first day of the week.

With a gain of 1.13 percent, NEPSE closed at 2027 points.

The trading volume also soared, marked by an increase in market growth.

Compared to Thursday’s trading worth Rs 3.1 billion, today’s trading volume reached Rs 4.25 billion.

Finance and Development Bank Group witnessed an increase in high rates, with Finance surging by 5.9% and Development Bank by 3.16%.

Conversely, the Hotel and Tourism Group saw a decrease of 4 points, while the Trading Group dropped by 1 point.

Banking rose by 6 points, Development Bank by 122, Finance by 113, Hydropower by 28, Life Insurance by 145, Production by 115, Microfinance by 28, Non-Life Insurance by 92, and Others Group by 22 points.

While the value of 190 companies increased today, 48 decreased, and 7 remained stable.
