Baroda gives Nepal 157 runs target in SMS Friendship Cup



KATHMANDU: Baroda has set a target of 157 runs against Nepal in SMS Friendship Cup on Friday.

Playing in the determined overs game in Gujarat, India, Baroda lost 8 wickets and scored 156 runs.

For Baroda, Shashwat Rawat scored 31 runs and Dhruv Patel contributed 29 runs.

For Nepal, Gulshan Jha and Karan K.C. took 2 wickets each.

Nepal has already entered the final in the Friendship Cup winning both the first match against Baroda and both matches against Gujarat before this.

With Nepal securing a spot in the finals, key players including Captain Rohit Poudel, Sompal Kami, Aasif Sheikh, and Abhinash Bohora have been rested for today’s match.

Dipendra Singh Airee will lead the Nepali team in Poudel’s absence, aiming to maintain their winning momentum in the competition.
