MORANG: Machchhindra Football Club has secured a spot in the final of the ongoing Birat Gold Cup Football Tournament in Biratnagar.

In an intense semifinal match held at the Martyr Stadium on Thursday night, Machchhindra emerged victorious against Sikkim Dragon, earning them a spot in the highly anticipated final showdown.

With this impressive win, Machchhindra is now set to face off against the home team, Shangrila Morang FA, in the ultimate battle for the championship title.

Notably, Shangrila Morang FA secured their place in the final by defeating the Armed Police Force (APF)’s departmental team in a thrilling match on Wednesday.

The semifinal victory for Machchhindra was sealed by Ayush Ghalan’s remarkable 94th-minute goal, which proved to be the deciding factor in the match.

Ghalan’s stellar performance earned him the prestigious ‘man of the match’ title for his outstanding contribution to the team’s success.
