HoR: Three ministers to address lawmakers’ queries today



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place at 11 am today.

Today’s agenda includes questions directed at ministers from the Ministry of Forest and Environment; the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation; and the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation.

Additionally, Speaker Devraj Ghimire is scheduled to oversee the renaming of members in thematic committees within the House of Representatives.

The Parliament Secretariat’s agenda notes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Narayankaji Shrestha’s proposal for discussing and ratifying provisions of the BIMSTEC Charter.

Furthermore, Minister of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs, Padam Giri, is slated to propose the consideration of Bill 2080 concerning legislation originating in the National Assembly during the session.
