NEPSE drops by 6.26 points on Monday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a decline of 6.26 points, closing at 2012.07 points on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

The day saw the trading of 7,290,200 shares in 63,015 transactions, amounting to Rs 2,874,754,305.75.

Today, Gurans Microfinance Limited and Mai Khola Hydropower Limited saw positive circuit breaks in their share prices, with Mahuli Microfinance Limited’s share value increasing by 9.44 percent.

Similarly, Falls Power’s share value dropped by 9.98 percent, while Himalayan Hydro’s declined by 6.27 percent, Upper Lahure Khola Hydropower’s by 6.17 percent, and Dhaulagiri Microfinance’s by 5.73 percent.

Based on trading volume, Sarbottam Cement Limited secured the top position today, with transactions amounting to Rs 472,917,632.
