KATHMANDU: Medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai has expressed his elated reaction to receiving justice from the Supreme Court.

Speaking to journalists at Tribhuvan International Airport on Sunday, Prasai mentioned that after 13 years of suffering due to the state’s denial of affiliation to B & D Medical College, he has finally received justice from the Supreme Court.

“After enduring 13 years of injustice from the state in denying us affiliation, we have finally received justice from the Supreme Court. Despite holding the Letter of Intent (LOI), we faced affiliation denial for over a decade,” he said, adding, “The fact that justice has prevailed underscores the Supreme Court’s role. I want to express my gratitude to the judiciary.”

Just a few days ago, the Supreme Court had issued an order in favor of Prasai’s writ petition, paving the way for B & D Medical College to obtain affiliation.
