VIENNA: Parties to Iran’s 2015 nuclear deal have met for emergency talks in Vienna on Sunday.

The meeting was called amid escalating tensions between Iran and the West, which included confrontations at sea.

France, Britain, Germany, China, Russia, and Iran have been trying to salvage the deal since the United States (US) withdrew from it in May 2018. The US has re-imposed and toughened sanctions on Iran. (Agencies)
