Ireland ‘A’ elects to bat first against Nepal



KATHMANDU: The Ireland A team, currently on tour in Nepal, has won the toss and chosen to bat first against the home team, Nepal.

After winning the toss, Ireland ‘A’ decided to take to the crease first at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Following two T20 matches against Ireland, the Nepali team is gearing up for the Friendship Cup in India.

Leading the Nepalese charge in this series is captain Rohit Paudel, accompanied by a formidable roster including Asif Sekh, Kushal Bhurtel, Kushal Malla, Bibek Yadav, Sandeep Zora, Anil Sah, Gulshan Jha, Dipendra Singh Airi, Lalit Rajbanshi, Karan KC, Sompal Kami, Pratish JC, Avinash Bohora, and Akash Chand.
