KATHMANDU: Most parts of the country are likely to experience rainfall today.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecasting Division, has reported the impact of the western low-pressure system prevailing over Nepal.

According to the Division, the weather is partially to generally cloudy across the country at present. Some areas in the Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces are experiencing light rainfall.

Today, the Division has forecasted weather to be partially to generally cloudy in the Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, while mostly clear weather is anticipated in the remaining regions.

There is a possibility of light rainfall with thunder and lightning in some places in the Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces during the day.

Additionally, there is a possibility of light snowfall in some areas of the high mountain and Himalayan regions of the Koshi, Gandaki, and Bagmati Provinces.

Tonight, there is a possibility of light rainfall with thunder and lightning in some places in the mountainous regions of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces.
