Manakamana cable car service temporarily suspended for maintenance



 MUGLIN: The Manakamana cable car service is scheduled to halt operations for a day. Manakamana Darshan Pvt Ltd has announced that the cable car service will be closed on March 20 for routine maintenance.

Ujjwal Sherchan, Deputy General Manager of the Pvt Ltd, confirmed that the service will resume regular operations from March 21.

The Manakamana cable car service, which commenced operations in 2055 BS, offers swift transportation to the revered Manakamana Temple in Gorkha district from Kurintar in Ichchhakamana-4, Chitwan district, with a travel time of just 10 minutes. It holds the distinction of being Nepal’s first-ever cable car service.
