Fire engulfs mill in Pathari, resulting in Rs 15 million loss



PATHARI: A devastating fire broke out at the Koshi Bitten Rice Mill located at Buddha Chowk of Pathari Shanishare municipality-1 last night, resulting in a significant loss of Rs 15 million.

The fire ignited within the mill premises around midnight, swiftly engulfing all the stored grains and machinery.

Firefighters from Pathari Shanishchare, Urlabari, Kanepokhari, and Belbari municipalities promptly responded to the scene, deploying fire engines to combat the blaze.

Additionally, local residents, along with Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel, actively contributed to bringing the fire under control.

Despite the collective efforts, the exact cause of the fire remains undetermined, as stated by Pathari police office.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
