Nepal likely to witness clear weather today

KATHMANDU: Nepal currently experiences a partial influence of local air combined with the western low pressure system, sparking speculation about impending rain.

This morning, there’s discernible change in the hilly regions, with the rest of the country maintaining clear weather, reports the Weather Forecast Division.

By afternoon, the hilly areas, especially in the Sudurpaschim Province, are expected to experience further alteration, with light snowfall predicted in select high hilly and mountainous locales, as per the Division’s forecast.

Tonight, the hilly regions, including Lumbini and Bagmati, are likely to witness continued transformation.

The Division has forecasted the possibility of light snowfall in high hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

Despite these fluctuations and the likelihood of snowfall in elevated regions, the Division has asserted there’s no expectation of rain for today.
