PM Dahal confident in facing challenges amidst potential alliance of NC and UML

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, stated that he is prepared to face any challenges that may arise from a potential alliance between the two major parties, Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML.

The response comes in the wake of warnings and alerts from NC General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma and CPN-Unified Socialist party’s Rajendra Pandey, regarding the potential consequences for the Maoist Center Chairman if NC and UML unite.

Addressing concerns raised by Sharma and Pandey during a parliamentary session, Prime Minister Dahal emphasized that the decision to form coalitions or alliances rests with the respective political parties.

He expressed readiness to confront any situation that may arise, maintaining confidence in his ability to navigate through challenges.

The remarks were made following warnings about the fate of Prime Minister Dahal in the event of collaboration between the two prominent parties, highlighting the intricate political landscape in Nepal.
