KATHMANDU: In a significant development, the Nagarik Unmukti Party has pledged its support for Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal during the ongoing confidence vote in the parliament.

Addressing the parliamentary session, Party Chairperson Ranjita Shrestha affirmed the party’s backing for PM Dahal.

This endorsement comes after a period of internal discord between Chairperson Shrestha and party custodian Resham Chaudhary regarding support for the Dahal-led government.
