KATHMANDU: In the Friendship Cup encounter, Hong Kong, China has established a daunting target of 213 runs for Nepal.

Having won the toss, Nepal opted to field first and managed to restrict Hong Kong to 212 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Aakash Chand led Nepal’s bowling attack with three crucial wickets, while Pratish GC, Aarif Sheikh, and Rashid Khan contributed with one wicket each.

In a remarkable batting display, Babar Hayat steered Hong Kong’s innings with an outstanding century, amassing 110 runs, accompanied by an impressive count of 13 sixes.

Additionally, contributions from Rath, M Coetzee, and A Khan bolstered Hong Kong’s total, with scores of 39, 31, and 21 runs, respectively.
