KATHMANDU: Nagarik Unmukti Party has declared its intention to serve as the opposition in the central government.

During a press conference held on Wednesday, party Chairman Resham Chaudhary revealed that the party’s central committee has decided against participating in the government.

“We have opted to function as the opposition at the central level,” Chaudhary stated.

He emphasized that while the party has chosen not to join the central government, its claim to the Sudurpaschim Provincial government remains unchanged.
