NC President Deuba holds talks with Madhav Nepal in Koteswor

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba held talks with Unified Socialist Chairman, Madhav Kumar Nepal at the latter’s official residence in Koteswor.

In the midst of uncertainty within the Unified Socialist Party regarding their involvement in the new power coalition, Deuba has chosen to visit Nepal’s residence in Koteshwar for talks.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda’s decision to terminate the alliance with the Nepali Congress and forge a new partnership with CPN-UML and RSP on Monday has reshaped the political landscape.

Presently, the alliance comprises only four parties: CPN-UML, Maoist Centre, RSP, and Janata Samajwadi Party.

However, PM Dahal and Oli have already initiated discussions with Madhav Nepal, contemplating the inclusion of Unified socialit into this alliance.
