KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has kicked off a day filled with crucial political meetings, underscoring the dynamic landscape of Nepal’s political arena.

In a significant development, senior Unified Socialist party leader Jhalanath Khanal engaged in discussions with Prime Minister Dahal earlier today.

Meanwhile, the political maneuvering continued as Prime Minister Dahal met with Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane at Baluwatar.

Adding to the intrigue, Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to hold talks with CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli later today at the official residence.

These discussions are anticipated to set the tone for the upcoming task force meeting, where the allocation of ministries among coalition parties will take center stage.

The Prime Minister’s Secretariat has confirmed that UML Chairman Oli will participate in discussions at Baluwatar, foreshadowing crucial decisions in the ongoing political negotiations.

Furthermore, internal deliberations within the ruling coalition parties are actively shaping the political narrative.

As part of the larger picture, negotiations are underway to expand the ruling coalition to include additional parties, with a particular focus on the Inofoed Socialist.

The current coalition is composed of CPN-UML, Maoist Center, RSP, and Janata Samajwadi Party.

The political buzz in Kathmandu reflects the intricate web of discussions, alliances, and strategic moves as the country navigates through its evolving political landscape.
