Nepal defeats Bhutan in SAFF U16 Women’s Championship

KATHMANDU: Nepal has defeated Bhutan 3-0 in the SAFF U-6 Women Championship Football Tournament.

In the match played at the Satdobato-based ANFA Complex in Kathmandu today Nepal outshined Bhutan.

Pooja Giri, Bhumika Budhathoki and Gyansu Dolma netted one goal each to secure Nepal’s win.

Nepal has secured the first win in the tournament.

Nepal played draw with Bangladesh 2-2 in its first match.

With this, Nepal has scored three points.

Nepal will take on India on March 7.
