COVID-19 vaccination campaign begins in Rukum West



RUKUM WEST: A COVID-19 vaccination campaign commenced in Rukum Paschim starting today.

Krishna Khadka, the Vaccination Supervisor of the Health Office in Rukum Paschim, stated that a booster dose vaccination campaign will be conducted in four out of the six local levels of the district.

The campaign is scheduled to run until February 7.

Prior to this initiative, the vaccination program has been executed in Musikot and Chaurjahari municipalities.

Vaccination activities will take place in Sanibheri, Banfikot, Triveni rural municipalities, and Aathbiskot municipality from February 4 to 7, as stated by Khadka.

A total of 2,290 booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have arrived at the health service office for the four local levels of the district.

The vaccine will be administered to individuals aged 12 and above. Moreover, individuals who missed the previous vaccination against the coronavirus will also have the opportunity to receive the vaccine.

The Health Service Office has confirmed that preparations have been completed to administer vaccinations in collaboration with the relevant local level health service branches and health volunteers.
